Dr. Dre's oft-delayed 'Detox' looks like it might be coming sooner than expected. The Cali-based producer/rapper's project sprung a leak yesterday in the form of 'Kush,' a snapping track featuring Snoop Dogg and Akon. Set to be the warm-up single from his third album, the weed anthem features hard-hitting rhymes from the former N.W.A. rapper as well as ganja-laced bars from his longtime collaborator Snoop Dogg.

"We roll shit that burns slow as fuckin' molasses / Prolly gon' pass it, smoke it to the last hit / Down to the ashes / Mary J a bad bitch," raps Dre over the swelling piano chords, throwing it to Akon who croons about flying high. "N----s say smoke me out, yeah, I really doubt it / I'm Bob Marley reincarnated, so faded," adds Snoop on his relaxed verse.

"It got leaked, and it was a version of it that I wasn't really happy about," Dre told Power 106. "But we're gonna go ahead and push it and put it out, since everybody seems to like it." He confirmed the track was about smoking weed, but says it's not what the bulk of 'Detox' is about. "This is actually the only type of song with that type of content on it," Dre promises.

The last time a track from 'Detox' leaked to the Internet, Dr. Dre wasn't pleased. Over the past year, 'Under Pressure' featuring Jay-Z and 'Turn Me On' hit the web, prompting Dre to scrap the tracks. "There's no leaks that came out that's gonna be on the record," said Dre. "I got hard new s---, had a little bit of leak in my security and what have you, but I got new s--- coming and trust me, it will not be a disappointment, you know what I mean? Y'all n----s gonna love this s---." The s--- he's talking about is still without a solid release date.
