Whenever you have two hip-hop pioneers in the same room, magic ensues. Even though Dr. Dre's Detox album appears to simply be nothing more than a dream now, there's no harm in pondering what if, right? Well, DJ Premier may have added fuel to our vehicle of high hopes after he posted a picture of himself and Dr. Dre at an undisclosed location.

While the Instagram photo says more than a 1,000 words, Premier's caption bolstered the possibility that they could have been diligently at work. "Puttin' in Work," the Gang Starr member wrote. Just seeing these two producers together is something to marvel at. Now, it could be possible that Premier is working with Dre on his Beats 1 Radio show, The Pharmacy.

Since Dre's show airs twice a month on Saturdays and Premier posted the picture on a Sunday (July 19), this could signify that maybe he was indeed a guest DJ on the show. This seems to be the most plausible conclusion, unless Dre is really serious about putting some new music out.

During the first airing of The Pharmacy, which premiered July 4, Dre led the way by talking about the forthcoming N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, in addition to playing some tunes from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, 2Pac, Vince Staples, and more. If you're interested in what Dre is serving, tune in to Beats 1 every other Saturday at 3 p.m. EST.
