What does a billion dollars get you? Apparently, an incredibly large studio. Legendary producer Dr. Dre reportedly has purchased a 20,000-square-foot estate for $40 million after closing his huge deal with Apple.

The former N.W.A. member purchased the five-bedroom mansion from New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, and his wife Gisele Bundchen, back in June. Now Dre plans to build a 10,000 square-foot recording studio, where he'll hopefully create some more classics -- not to mention finish up on the long-awaited 'Detox' album.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the addition of the studio will add a $10 million value to the home, which already has a gym, a golf course, a library, seven fire places and a sauna. And that's just for starters.

No word on when the studio will be done, but considering Dre is infamously known to work on albums very slooowly, it's possible this new studio will provide him with some new inspiration.

So there's still hope that 'Detox' will be released within the next century or so.
