Singer/rapper/drummer Anderson .Paak has announced that his much-anticipated upcoming album is due out at some point this year, following the critical success of his 2016 releases, Malibu and his soul-dripped collaborative project with producer Knxlwledge as NxWorries, Yes Lawd!

In the meantime, the Cali native has been touring, and while in London last night (March 13), he was joined by his mentor, Dr. Dre, as the two performed classic Dre hits including "The Next Episode" and "Still D.R.E.," marking Dre's first UK performance since he appeared onstage with Eminem in 2014.

The show at Brixton’s O2 Academy which was filmed for Apple Music, found Dre praising . Paak, whose star is definitely rising as more people get hip to his incredible musicianship.

“This man right here is destined to be a star. Trust me," Dre told the crowd.

Earlier this year, .Paak said that Dre played a major role in the production of his new project.

“It’s dope to be around legends like that and you can feel the mutual respect,” he said. “That’s what I always did it for, I wasn’t really thinking about money or fame, I just wanted the respect from the people I look up to musically.”
