This week, listeners receive another welcome edition of the DOPE Digital Cassette series. For this project, the Bedford Box Office curates a seven-track mix of rock, blues, R&B, dream pop and surfer's rock.

It's possible that you'll hear the next up-and-coming artist in this mix. Singer-songwriter Ari Lennox, a Washington, D.C., native, showcases her delicate vocals and takes a trip down memory lane on 'Cold Outside' while rockers Van Hoorn -- comprised of singer Cheyenne and Tozzi and guitarist Josh Mullane -- deliver a moody tale on 'Cocaine.'

The DOPE series has featured work from TDE signee SZA and an at-the-time unknown J. Cole, whose Dreamville imprint just landed a partnership with Interscope Records.

DOPE is a concert series founded in New York City five years ago by music executive Shawn Lawrence James. He works to make a platform for New York's underground artists' voices to be heard.
