Donald Glover's (aka rapper Childish Gambino) love for music and comedy is set to intertwine on a new TV series he's working on for FX.

According to Deadline, Glover is taking on the role of writer, executive producer, and lead actor for a series tentatively titled 'Atlanta.' While little is known about the plot or narrative, it will be a comedy that centers on the music scene in ATL. This should come as no surprise to fans of Glover—he was raised in Stone Mountain, Ga., which is a 30-minute drive from Atlanta.

What is slightly surprising about this news is that Glover revealed earlier this year that he planned on taking time off from his commitment to NBC's Community to focus on his music career. Maybe it will be easier to strike a balance between his rapping and Atlanta because he's in charge? We'll see.
