DMXRapper DMX might just get the help he needs for his alleged drug addiction, that is if the folks over at 'Celebrity Rehab' have anything to do with it. TMZ is reporting that the VH1 reality show -- aimed at helping fallen celebrities overcome drug addiction -- is looking to snag X for its next season.

Following his most recent arrest for probation violation, X's lawyer Gary Jenkins pleaded for the help of 'Celebrity Rehab' host and chief physician Dr. Drew Pinsky. "He's been battling addiction for some time and he's in need of treatment." Said Jenkins. "We're hoping that maybe Dr. Drew might be able to help him."

On the contrary, X's manager Nakia Walker confirmed his arrest but shied away from discussing his drug use. "It is unfortunate and painful to see Earl incarcerated, as there are a lot of rumors and lies surfacing regarding the details of his personal and professional state," she said in an interview. If he does sign on to do the show the Yonker's native will join the likes of notables like Dennis Rodman, MacKenzie Phillips, and Rodney King -- who all completed treatment on the show.

In the past few years things just haven't been going well for the former Ruff Ryders frontman. Aside from his numerous arrests, X continues to display increasingly erratic behavior including hiding out in producer Scott Storch's former mansion before being captured by police in 2008. X's wife, Tashera Simmons, also announced plans to release a tell-all book about her relationship with the 39-year-old, born Earl Simmons.

X is currently being held in an Arizona Jail on and is expected to appear in court March 16.
