DMX Caught on Camera Running Naked Through Hotel (VIDEO)
DMX was caught on camera streaking naked through the halls of a Detroit Hotel.
The bizarre incident took place in Detroit last weekend. The video, which has now been made public by TMZ, shows DMX walk past a room service attendant, clad only in his boxers, socks, and a house arrest ankle monitor. He then turns the corner, out of sight from the room service attendant, removes his boxers, and then leaves them on the floor. He then proceeds to go for a jog around the hallway, his genitalia in full view of the room service attendant or any man, woman, or child on that floor who might have chosen that inauspicious moment to open the door of their hotel room.
Eventually DMX returns to the corner where his boxers are located, and puts them on again. He then walks towards the room service attendant. The video has no audio, so it's unclear as to whether people reacted to the Yonkers rapper's bizarre behavior, or if he was warned to put on his clothes again.
TMZ apparently reached out to DMX, and they are reporting that he told them that he simply felt like going out on this run and added: "Imnotashamedofanythingigot." This is just another incident in the growing stockpile of incidents for the man who was the first artist in any genre of music to release five consecutive albums that charted at number 1 on the Billboard Charts. So far in 2013, he has been arrested three times. So far, no charges have been filed in this incident.
DMX was in Detroit to attend the Detroit Jazz Festival. His last album, 'Undisputed,' came out almost one year ago.
UPDATED: DMX's publicist, Domenick Nati, released a statement regarding this incident. "DMX was a Detroit hotel with his DJ (DJ NonStop) and his road manager (Montana) before his performance with Eve and Lil Kim on August 31st. X and the team were killing time at the hotel before the concert and dared each other to streak in the hallway. No one was aware that security cameras were rolling and it was just a playful dare between friends."
