On the heels of this year’s N.W.A. reunion at Coachella, DJ Yella just teased the idea of a possible reunion tour next year. In an interview with Wavvy Music, Yella was asked  about the rumored reunion tour and he responded, “You never know what is coming next year…You never know!”

There have long been rumors of a N.W.A reunion tour that would’ve included rap vet Snoop Dogg and a performance by Eminem to honor the late Eazy E. The tour was originally slated for 2015 during the promotion of the group’s biopic, Straight Outta Compton. “We don’t have anything settled yet with everyone’s schedules,” Donna Langley, Universal Pictures chair, said at the time. “But we think it can create a lot of buzz.”

Shortly after the news of the “original” reunion tour was released, representatives for Ice Cube and Eminem disputed the report, telling Rolling Stone neither of them had plans to tour together, either solo or with N.W.A. Coachella may have been the group’s final reunification, but after Yella's recent ambiguous hint, fans can hope.

Back in April, Kendrick Lamar inducted N.W.A. into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They were expected to perform during the event, but that never happened. In an interview with The New York Times, Ice Cube said, “I guess we really didn’t feel like we were supported enough to do the best show we could put on. We wanted to do it on a whole other level, and that just couldn’t happen.”
