DJ Trauma lives a very active life in his new video for “Take Me High.” The Nick Brazinsky-directed visual features the Atlanta radio personality going about his daily life.

Throughout the clip, we see Trauma getting his daily run in, making a pitstop at the barbershop and enjoying a night out with friends. R&B singer The Dan is also featured in the video enjoying her day as well. The song certainly has a summer vibe to it -- thanks the Stan Getz guitar sample used famously by J Dilla on the Pharcyde's "Runnin'."

“I always knew I had a good record with ‘Take Me High,’ but I also know timing is everything,” DJ Trauma tells Billboard. “At the release party for Dave Chappelle’s Netflix specials in L.A., I dropped my song and watched the star-studded crowd, which included Kendall Jenner and Tyler, the Creator, rocking and bobbing their heads. By the first hook, people were singing along with it. I knew right then I was winning.”

When DJ Trauma not DJing for Dave Chappelle, he's spinning for Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s baby shower or rocking crowds at the Fresh Island Festival in Croatia. Currently, DJ Trauma is working on his EP, which is due out this fall.

If you need a song to warm up your outdoor barbecue party, this is it. Watch DJ Trauma's new video above.
