Fans remembered the late Heavy D on Wednesday (Nov. 8), six years after Heavy's untimely death at age 44.

The Overweight Lover remains one of hip-hop's most beloved artists; his music is an undeniable part of the 1980s and 1990s—as evidenced by DJ R-Tistic's awesome tribute to Heavy D's lengthy list of hits.

R-Tistic posted a video of himself cutting up several of Heavy D's classic songs like "Is It Good To You" and "Black Coffee," as well as his famous guest spots (like Janet Jackson's "Alright") and even his theme from FOX's hit sketch comedy show In Living Color.

So in case you missed it, you can check out DJ R-Tistic's tribute in the video above.
