Hip-hop heavyweights DJ Premier and Royce da 5'9" have teamed up to form a rap tandem called PRhyme. The dynamic duo recently dropped a teaser video to get fans ready for something that we believe is really special.

In the clip, we see Royce and Premo chopping it up as they walked a record store filled with old vinyl records from the '60s and '70s. Once Premier hits the turntables, the beat kicks in and Royce goes in and spits his no-nonsense lyrical flow.

If you are thinking that this group is Gang Starr 2.0, you would be sadly mistaken.

“This is for the real hip-hop n----s who would never, ever, ever ask me if I’m here to replace Guru," raps Royce.

This isn't the first time that Premo and the Detroit wordsmith have collaborated on record. The pair first teamed up on Royce's 2009 debut album 'Street Hop' on 'Something 2 Ride 2.' That was followed in 2011 with the Eminem-assisted 'Writer's Block (Remix).'

Get ready hip-hop heads -- it's PRhyme time!
