'DJ Hero 2' is expanding its soundtrack adding three new mix packs to the game. Activision, the company behind the interactive video game, announced Tuesday that the three new mixes include tracks from the Beastie Boys, and electronic dance music stars The Prodigy, as well as Linkin Park and the Pixies.

For the old school music lovers, the 'Old Skool Mix Pack' drops Dec. 14, and features selections like the Fat Boys 'Human Beat Box' mixed with Mantronix 'King of the Beats,' or the Beastie Boys' 'Triple Trouble' mixed with Tone-Loc's 'Funky Cold Medina.' Additionally, three Linkin Park hits will receive the exclusive 'DJ Hero' remix treatment, including a mix of 'When They Come for Me' courtesy of legendary turntablist, producer and 'DJ Hero' alumni Diplo.

The 'Old Skool Mix Pack' and 'Linkin Park Mix Pack' can be downloaded for $7.99 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the computer. All mixes will also be released as downloadable singles for Wii for 300 Wii Points.

The successful 'DJ Hero 2' series provides an interactive way for players to come together and party with a host of new multiplayer modes, including DJ battles, and invites vocalists into the spotlight with integrated on-screen singing and rapping of lyrics. The game's soundtrack showcases 83 unique creations available on 'DJ Hero 2.'
