Diggy Simmons plans to make his debut album leave a great first impression. A behind-the-scenes video has revealed that the hip-hop wunderkind -- and son of Reverend Run -- is aiding his goal by hooking up with production impresario Bangladesh.

In the clip, Bangladesh notes that he grew up listening to Run-DMC while Diggy bigged up the accomplished producer's catalog that includes hits for Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Gucci Mane and many others.

"I been a fan of Bang since 'A Milli' and you know I love '6 Foot 7 Foot' and beat for 'Did It On Em' is stupid," said Diggy. "So when they told me we was getting in with Bang I was like, 'Oh, he's going to give us something hard,' it's over. I'm just grateful man, to be here, we already knocked out something crazy."

The unnamed song the two created during the recording will likely be appearing on Diggy's as yet untitled debut album. Russell Simmons' nephew inked a recording deal with Atlantic Records last March and dropped a DJ Premier-hosted mixtape, 'Past, Presents Future' in December. Earlier this year, the teenaged MC graced the cover of the XXL Magazine's 2011 Freshmen issue.

Bang, who was formerly known as Shondrae when he created early Ludacris hits like 'What's Your Fantasy,' says he was impressed, and pleasantly surprised, by Diggy's rhyme talents. "N----s don't know [the] n---a's really passionate about this s---," the producer explained. "It's not like he's just a n----'s son. He's really passionate about this s--- man and I respect that. N---a be going in on them raps. N---- only 16, no telling what he's going to sound like at 20 cause he's dope now. I ain't even know... Good music, straight up, that's all we gotta say."
