Diddy’s Son Quincy Speaks Out on Father’s Assault Arrest

Puff Daddy's family is supporting the rap mogul in light of his recent legal troubles. After his arrest for assaulting a football coach last week, Diddy's son Justin offered his support and now stepson Quincy is doing the same.

Quincy, an actor and singer, is calling his father's arrest for assault with a deadly weapon at UCLA a "hiccup." "Hiccups happen in life. You push that to the side. You worry about that later," he told the Associated Press while at the 2015 BET Awards Sunday (June 28).

On June 22, Diddy was arrested for fighting an assistant football coach at UCLA after he witnessed him berating son Justin, who plays football there as a Bruin. The Bad Boy Records mogul apparently used a kettlebell to attack the coach during the incident.

Despite the altercation, Quincy is standing by his pops: "That's why we here right now just enjoying the BET Awards. We come every year. We're supporting the family, supporting my dad. And my dad's got a big performance this year."

The "Finna Get Loose" rhymer has always accepted Quincy as his own even though he is the son of '80s singer Al B. Sure. Quincy is following in the footsteps of both Diddy and Al, becoming an entertainment star in his own right. He has been releasing music like the slow jam "Stay Awhile" and recently took on a starring role in the coming-of-age movie Dope.
