"The sun don't shine forever," right? Who would have thought those lyrics would one day stand true in terms of Diddy and his music career? According to one of his songwriters, the hip-hop mogul is prepping his last album, No Way Out 2.

During an appearance on the red carpet ASCAP’s Rhythm & Soul Music Awards last month, Gizzle -- a new addition to the Bad Boy songwriting camp -- revealed the news to Rap-Up regarding the status of Puff's "last album." "You know, I'm working on a lot of things. Currently, I'm working on Puff Daddy's last album," she said. "It's called No Way Out 2. It's a crazy project. I'm very honored to be a part of it. Nobody can make an album like Puff Daddy. I'll be actually rapping on there too. So it's cool."

In 1997, Diddy released his classic LP, No Way Out, under the Puff Daddy and the Family brand. The album spawned hits like "Been Around the World," "Victory" and "I'll Be Missing You." It shouldn't be surprising that Puff is working expeditiously to finish this project. He held a Bad Boy reunion with artists like the Lox and Lil' Kim during his performance at the 2015 BET Awards, which definitely put more eyes in his direction. He's even been using the hashtag #NWO2 on his Instagram.

In addition, his newest single, "Finna Get Lose" featuring Pharrell, is tagged as a Puff Daddy and the Family record. In terms of Puff's other album, MMM, Gizzle also chimed  in on its whereabouts. “I think MMM is something else. You’ll be surprised. It’s a lot of cool things going on,” she revealed.

If No Way Out 2 is indeed his swan song, who do you think Diddy should collaborate with before he closes up shop in the studio? Let us know in the comments below.
