Diddy may be running his Bad Boy label and Revolt TV, but he hasn’t forgotten his love for acting. The rap mogul will return to television with a cameo role in ABC’s new fall series, Notorious.

EW.com revealed the casting news. Diddy will play himself, so it shouldn’t be too much of a stretch. According to the episode’s synopsis, Diddy will visit the set of the fictional show’s news program, Louise Herrick Live, to take out the host (played by Kate Jennings Grant) for some martinis at Chateau Marmont. The 46-year-old mogul will also interact with the show’s co-star, Piper Perabo, whose character produces the news program.

For the record, ABC's Notorious is not about the late Brooklyn rapper Notorious B.I.G. According to reports, the show is based on real-life criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos and Larry King Live news producer Wendy Walker.

This news comes as Biggie will be immortalized in a sitcom for TBS. The show, Think Big will be loosely based on the lyrics of the late rapper. The series focuses on the misadventures of an inner-city teen “desperately trying to create a better future for his daughter and infant son.”

Mass Appeal and Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, will help produced the series that will also incorporate lyrics from Biggie’s hit songs.

ABC's Notorious will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 9PM ET.
