The hip-hop community is mourning the loss of Detroit indie rapper and producer Kevlaar 7. According to AllHipHop.com, the 37-year-old rhymer died from a blood disorder last Tuesday (Dec. 23).

Kevlaar 7, whose real name is Kevin Cross, was a member of the Wisemen affiliate and the brother of Wu-Tang Clan affiliate Bronze Nazareth who revealed the sad news on Twitter.

"Devastated. Rest In Power my Dear Brother #Kevlaar7," he tweeted to his followers on Christmas Day.

Kevlaar 7 worked with several artists in the rap game including Cappadonna, Rass Kass, Styles P, Killah Priest, Sha Stimuli and others. The "visual" artist also played an integral part in the production of Wisemen's two full-length albums, 'Wisemen Approaching' in 2007 and 'Children of a Lesser God' in 2010.
