Desiigner Releases Energetic Track ‘Outlet': ‘I’m Ready to Take It By Storm’ [LISTEN]

After a successful 2016 run with “Panda” and “Tiimmy Turner,” Desiigner is back with an energetic new track called “Outlet.” The song received its official premiere on Zane Lowe’s World Record program on Beats 1 on Thursday (Feb. 9).

Over blaring trumpets and a chaotic beat, the Brooklyn rhyme-spitter flaunts his wealth and status in the rap game.

"Got that gold watch / And some strippers with me, getting more liquor / She be paparazzin' with her tits out, getting more liquor / I be countin' money, gettin' cash / Yeah gettin' more jigga," he spits.

Although not as infectious as "Panda,” the Vinylz-produced song is certainly Desiigner’s blustering announcement that he’s ready to take over the world and be the next global artist.

"I'm ready to take it by storm," he told Lowe on World Record. "'Panda' was crazy. 'Tiimmy [Turner]' was crazy. 'Outlet' is crazy. The album is crazy. The tour is crazy. Def Jam/G.O.O.D. Music, goddamn!"

Speaking of touring, Desiigner will hit the road in April on “The Outlet” Tour in support of the song and upcoming album. The 25-city jaunt will kick off on April 2 in Seattle and will wrap up on May 16 in Toronto. You can peep his tour itinerary below.
