Denzel Washington Reveals His Favorite Rappers

Actor Denzel Washington has a fondness for rap music, and has even talked about his friendship with artists like Jay Z. But Hov isn't the only rapper on his radar. The 59-year-old shed light on a few of his favorite MCs during Reddit's AMA (Ask Me Anything) session on Sept. 6.

A person with the username Salmonderp asked Washington if the Eminem song 'Guts Over Fear' was a personal choice to be featured in his upcoming movie, 'The Equalizer,' and if he was a true fan of the Detroit rapper.

"Eminem, yes, and I like Nas, and Jay Z," he wrote. "Eminem and Nas are real wordsmiths. So yes, I'm definitely an Eminem fan. Where's he been? Where you been Eminem?"

'The Equalizer' hits theaters on Sept. 26. In the film, Washington stars as former special ops agent Robert McCall, who helps a girl fight off a bunch of dangerous gangsters after meeting her in the town where he lives.
