The 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards cyphers immediately stepped up with the second group Tuesday night (Oct. 14). This one features David Banner, Vic Mensa, Treach, Snow Tha Product and King Los.
Snow Tha Product notably switched from her nimbly performed verse to a rapid diatribe in Spanish, showcasing the depth of her control.
Banner's outfit, which looks borrowed from Brother Mouzone from 'The Wire,' inspired some jokes from Twitter. But his verse was serious business.
"I meant it how it sound / Where were the White rappers when they mowed Mike Brown down?" Banner raps.
He's certainly come a long way from 'Play.'
