Dark ATM Brings Heat Once Again on ‘Trill S

Dark ATM apparently isn't the type to rest on acclaim. The 'Black Friday' remix he did with Chinx Drugz and Bodega Bamz has won Hot 97's Battle of the Beats' five times. The New York newcomer's follow-up is just as dense and just as tough. He connects with Fat Trel on 'Trill S---.'

The new song doesn't use an easily recognizable sample and builds around a chopped and screwed sensibility to make a banger. The bass is heavy, and Dark ATM's breathy, rugged delivery makes sure to leave an impression.

Dark meshes well with his featured guest once again. Fat Trel counters the New York native's pointedness with a laid-back, but unmistakeable confidence.

"I rock Gucci, I rock FILA / NYC we tree high / Like my bitches knee high," he raps.

The tip-toeing keys switches tempo between the hook and the verse, giving the already strong instrumental an organic feel.
