"I been putting out free music my entire career ... I don't care about sales or no dumb s--t," Danny Brown explained on Twitter this weekend, which is why he's allowing fans to stream his new 'Old' album a whole eight days before they can actually cop it.

The Detroit rapper has been teasing the record's concept for almost a year now, and it unfolds spectacularly, as you'll discover below. Separated into side A and side B -- bookmarked by the cuts 'Side A (Old)' and 'Side B (Dope Song)' -- 'Old' follows a rich, compelling and often contrasting narrative that speaks to fans of both his MDMA-fuelled party bangers and earlier lyrical work (hence the album's title).

Running 19 tracks long, the LP features appearances from A$AP Rocky, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, Purity Ring and Freddie Gibbs, who plays the Big Boi to Danny's 3 Stacks on 'The Return,' a "remake" (a superb one at that) of OutKast's 'Return of the G.'
