Damon Dash is proving that even bosses take losses. The business mogul has lost custody of his children today (April 20).

According to TMZ, Dash is on the losing end of a custody battle with ex-wife Rachel Roy. The fight over custody involves the former couple's two children: 15-year-old Ava and 6-year-old Tallulah. A Los Angeles judge granted the famed fashion designer full custody of the kids, which Damon was also seeking.

The two have been embroiled in a legal and public war of words as of late, with Roy pegging Damon as an unfit parent and accusing him of physical abuse. She claims he even exposed their children to his marijuana habit.

Dash also attacked Roy's character, painting her as an irresponsible parent and alleging that she's gone as far as to threaten him while wielding a knife. But when all was said and done, the courts ruled in favor of Roy, which Dash may have seen as a forgone conclusion judging by his decision to skip the proceedings all together. He is only allowed supervised visits with his daughters and Roy now has a three-year restraining order against him.

After getting married in 2005, Roy filed for divorce from Dash in March 2009, due to the strain his financial troubles had put on their marriage. They have since been at odds, culminating in the court ruling.

2015 certainly hasn't been the best year for Damon Dash as it stands at this moment. Aside from coming out the victor in his legal squabble with director Lee Daniels, his stock has been on the decline following his much-maligned appearance on The Breakfast Club's morning show, in which his views on what constitutes a boss led to massive amounts of ridicule. That moment lead to one of the hottest hip-hop topics to emerge in 2015 thus far.
