D. Yelv released his latest mixtape, Cal Ripken, on Friday (Jan. 27). The Baltimore native aimed to pay homage to the city he calls home with songs like the title track, "Homecoming (Turn Me Up)" and his latest single, "So Good."

“’So Good’ serves personally as a demonstration of growth for me as an artist," he said (via stuffpeoplelike.com). "I really just want my fans and listeners to hear the track and vibe to it, nod their head a little bit, and really hear the lyrics and relate to it,” says D.Yelv of the track.

The 27-year-old rapper worked with a variety of producers including Omito, Classix Beats and MTF Mob. He previously released two other EPs, Preconceived Notions and Infinite.
