Converse ‘Space Invader’ Pack

The Air Jordan 11 has been the sneaker long associated with the movie 'Space Jam' but there's always room for more homages. This time Nike's sister shoe company, Converse, gives us its take on the classic '90s film with this "Space Invader" pack.

Included in the set is the Monstar-inspired Converse Aero Jam and the Marvin the Martian-inspired Converse Weapon Mid. If you've seen the movie the visual references to the characters are obvious; but even if you have no relationship to the film whatsoever the high quality materials and cool detailing really help sell the look. For instance, the Aero Jam's purple build and gum outsole or the Weapon Mid's 'World Domination' tag are fun to look at with no context necessary.

The sneaker set is currently available at select Converse retailers including Silvasdescalo who has them in stock for approximately $150 USD, which isn't bad at all.
