Concertgoer Shot Outside Drake Show in Chicago
Several fights broke out and at least one person was shot after a Drake performance at the House of Blues in Chicago this past Saturday. According to reports, the popular new rapper took the stage over three hours late and performed to a packed crowd of over 1,000 fans, until several scuffles interrupted his set, just before 4 a.m.
The crowd was ordered to exit the venue, when two men became engaged in an altercation outside, and one of them was shot in the buttocks. He was immediately rushed to a local hospital, where he was treated for his wound and discharged. Chicago police are still searching for his assailant.
The shooting was one of 11 that occurred around the city on Saturday. Drake canceled an after-party for the concert, concerned with further violence. Check the clip for some footage of Drake reacting to the first fight (and kinda sorta being hugged by Lupe Fiasco).
