While details of Common's forthcoming ninth album 'The Dreamer, The Believer' have been sketchy, a recently released snippet of a new song means we should be getting some new information soon. FakeShoreDrive spotted that Amazon posted a 30 second snippet of a song called 'Ghetto Dreams,' which also features Nas, along with artwork featuring a photo of the veteran MCs in their younger days.

Over abrasive drums and keys from producer No ID, a portion of Common's verse that seems to be about a ride-or-die type chick is heard. "The type of b---- that BIG said he would die for, is the type that I ride and stay alive for/ Tats on her back looking all tribal, she know shoes like she know survival," spits Com.

For the moment, Nas is only heard on the chorus just as the snippet comes to an end. The full song won't be available on iTunes until June 24. Common mentioned "Ghetto Dreams" to the Boombox back in December 2010 when speaking of 'The Dreamer, The Believer,' which is due out sometime this year. Interestingly, the song is credited to Think Common Entertainment instead of the G.O.O.D. Music label the Chi-Town rapper's last few albums have been released on.

Just a couple of weeks ago, the 'I Used to Love H.E.R.' MC came under fire from conservatives after being invited to perform at the White House. Common's last album, 'Universal Mind Control,' was released in 2008.
