Common Brings Out Kanye West at AAHH! Festival in Chicago
When two beloved rappers rock a show right in their hometown, the energy level is bound to be off the meter.
Just ask those who attended Chicago's AAHH! Festival this past weekend, where Common brought out Kanye West during his set. The two ran through songs they've collaborated on, and West performed several cuts from his impressive catalog.
'The College Dropout' creator walked on stage to his 2004 cut 'Jesus Walks,' then went into fan favorites like 'Can't Tell Me Nothing,' 'Good Life,' 'All of the Lights,' and 'Power.'
Wearing a red-and-black lumberjack jacket, a grey hoodie and ripped jeans, the newly married rapper energized the crowd as people waived, applauded and sang every word to each song.
Of course Common and Kanye have worked together on multiple albums, and some might say the producer was responsible for exposing Com to a mainstream audience. However, Kanye hasn't produced an album for his Chi-Town partner since 2007's 'Finding Forever.'
