Columbus Short Is Newly Engaged with a Baby on the Way

Columbus Short is not wasting any time moving on from his tumultuous marriage to video vixen, Karrine "Superhead" Steffans.

The actor, although briefly married to Karrine, already has a baby on the way and he's reportedly engaged to Los Angeles-based publicist, Aida Abramyan. Word is, Abramyan and Short have been dating on and off for years. We're always happy about babies but the the union has many folks are wondering if their off and on "closeness" is what caused some of the (very public) marital struggles between Steffans and Short. The troubled actor went through a very messy breakup with his third spouse, Karrine back in April. Steffans filmed herself trashing his things and throwing Short out of the house after learning of his consistent infidelities. Short later announced the two were never actually married, despite their announcement.

Despite the rumors and public shock, Aida took to Twitter to dote on her fiancé in photo with the actor captioned, “Supporting my boo at the 'IF' movie wrap party. I'm always by your side my love. I love you!!”

Short shares a son with his first wife Brandi, who divorced him in 2003 and he shares a daughter with Tanee McCall, who divorced him in 2014 after allegations of domestic violence.

The former Scandal gladiator has admitted his struggles with substance abuse and a few run-ins with the law, were “monumental mistakes” that he’s learned from in his effort to move forward with his life.

“I wish I would have loved myself more," he said in an interview with ET! "That’s it.”
