Ciara Shows Up on Usher’s ‘Hot Tottie’ — Listen

Last year, Usher hit the masses with his Jay-Z-assisted burner ‘Hot Tottie,’ which was featured on his EP, ‘Versus’ — an extension of his sixth studio album, ‘Raymond v. Raymond.’

Now, a new version of the song has emerged, featuring one of pop and R&B’s darlings: Ciara. The Polow da Don-produced effort with Ci Ci’s vocals was originally set to appear on Usher’s EP, an original tracklisting even showcased Ciara’s name as a featured artist. But as is the case with many an album, things get cut and the singer’s verse never made it to the final release.

On the cut, Ciara coos, “I’mma test your love, feel you out/ See if it’s as good as you been talkin’ ’bout.” She then gets flirty and bold with, “I know you wanna get my clothes off/ From what you seein’ I look so soft.”
