Ciara is holding nothing back when it comes to her personal life. The singer made an appearance on CBS This Morning to promote her recently released album Jackie, and the conversation quickly turned to the criticism she's faced when it comes to her style of parenting.

Naturally, she was asked about the controversy that has engulfed her relationship with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. Ciara has been criticized by her ex-fiancee Future for introducing their son, Future, to Wilson and having the 1-year-old around him. The football player has been snapped by paparazzi pushing the toddler's stroller. Even T.I. has chimed in on the matter.

"What's the difference here?" Ciara asked, pointing out that she had been taking care of Future's other four children early on in their relationship. The "I Bet" singer accused Future of creating a double-standard. She also reminded those who have been calling her out on social media that they are talking about a child, and that he will be the one most affected as he grows up.

Ciara refused to say Future's name throughout the interview, referring to him only as "my son's father." She says that attempts to get Future to talk with Wilson have been ignored thus far.

She also touched upon the personal nature of Jackie and embracing her vulnerability in her music. "Having my child kinda allowed me to be in tune with my true feelings and thoughts," she shared.

Of course, the interview got into the details about her current relationship with Wilson, whom she has been with since early 2015. The couple's vow of celibacy was part of the conversation -- they won't have sex until they get married -- and Ciara acknowledged that this has been difficult. However, she added that the dynamic has helped the two learn about each other and grow stronger together. Looks like the two are headed in a positive direction.
