R&B star Ciara has decided to get legal on her ex-fiance, Future.

The singer is suing Future Hendrix for $15 million for slander and libel after the rapper criticized her as a mother and questioned her relationship with her current boyfriend, Russell Wilson. TMZ obtained the suit, where Ciara cites a radio interview where Future blasted Ciara for a photo of her and Wilson pushing his son Future Zahir in a stroller; he called the snapshot a "publicity stunt."

“She probably set him [Russell] up," Future told The Breakfast Club. "You letting them catch that photo. Leave my son out of all the publicity stunts.”

There is also the matter of Future's most recent public trashing of the woman he was set to marry two years ago. In January, he again publicly criticized her -- this time via Twitter.
“This bitch got control problems," he tweeted. "I gotta go through lawyers to see baby future … the f***ery for 15k a month.”

Ciara says in the suit that she has gone above and beyond to make sure Future sees their son; claiming that they’ve had at least 19 visitations since December 2014. Footage surfaced last week of the hip-hop star spending time with his son in Los Angeles.

In addition to the allegations of slander and libel, Ciara also wants Future prohibited from discussing her or their son publicly from now on.

It doesn't seem like the cold war is going to thaw between these two any time soon, but here's hoping they find a way to at least be civil for their son. Ciara and Wilson seem fairly happy and Future's career is undeniably going stellar; it's unfortunate that they can't seem to hash out their drama. But Future does need to understand that you can't keep dragging the mother of your son publicly and think she's going to take it lying down.
