Ciara will join the rest of the star-studded panel of Miss America judges next year. The Miss America Organization made the announcement Wednesday, naming the final member of the celebrity judges panel for the 2017 Miss America competition. The singer, songwriter, fashion icon and newly-married diva will be judging alongside Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas, musician and actress Laura Marano (Austin & Ally), NBA team owner and businessman Mark Cuban, actress Sara Foster (Barely Famous), singer-songwriter Cole Swindell and former Miss America Sharlene Wells Hawkes.

The celebrity panel will evaluate the contestants’ performance in swimsuits, evening wear, talent, interviews and answering onstage questions.

Current Miss America, Betty Cantrell, welcomed Ciara to the panel via Twitter this morning.

This year has already been an amazing one for Ciara. She's married NFL superstar and man of her dreams Russell Wilson this past July, hosted the Billboard Music Awards with Ludacris in May, has worked with several fashion brands on countless red carpets and campaigns like Roberto Cavalli and signed a modeling deal with mega agency IMG Models.

And now the pop star is joining the Miss America judges' panel. The pageant finale will be broadcast live from Atlantic City on ABC on Sept. 11, and will be hosted by Chris Harrison and Sage Steele.
