Chrisette Michele Releases New Song ‘Super Chris’

There are other views of superstardom that don't involve paranoia or excessive melancholy (shout outs to Drake and Childish Gambino). Chrisette Michele centers on that in her latest song, 'Super Chris.'

Over a clean and soothing riff, Michele finds herself at odds with the quick pace of celebrity. It's OK, because she's still being herself: Super Chris.

"Am I superstar?/ Is that who I are?/ Some superstar/ No not really though, not really at all/ I feel a Super Chris,” Michele sings.

'Super Chris' is the first single off her upcoming 'The Lyricists Opus' EP.

Earlier this month, the songstress debuted the visual to 'Love Won't Leave Me Out,' a song off her 'Better' album.
