Chris Brown Says He’ll Retire After Next Album

Chris Brown announced this morning via his Twitter account that he plans on retiring after releasing his 'X' album. Why? Because he's "tired of being famous for a mistake [he] made when [he] was 18.

The R&B singer was clearly referring to when he was convicted of physically assaulting Rihanna in February 2009. The two have since made up and even dated in the ensuing years, though Breezy continues to face criticism over the attack.

He's also been slighted for his other run-ins with popular artists; the bottle-throwing nightclub incident with Drake in 2012 and the parking lot scuffle with Frank Ocean earlier this year.
