Chris Brown had a day of reckoning of sorts yesterday (June 11), when he finally celebrated the opening of his joint art show with contemporary artist Ron English, at the Opera Gallery in New York.

Our friends at ANIMALNewYork attended the event
, dismissing Breezy's seven "spray-painted cartoon-ish abstractions" as "childlike" Kenny Scharf imitations, an accurate comparison. Fellow celebs on hand for the opening included Busta Rhymes, DJ Khaled, Justin Combs and Brown's girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

Check out ANIMAL's review of Chris Brown's opening here, and also take a look at a slideshow of Breezy's "art." Perhaps he should stick to singing/rapping/imitating Michael Jackson.
