Chris Brown's 'X' album is indefinitely delayed, and instead of finishing or promoting the project, he's taking some time to work on himself. The bad boy singer is spending time in rehab and a judge is pleased with the results.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge James Brandlin rejected a prosecutor's motion to have Brown jailed in Washington D.C., because he thinks the 'Fine China' creator is making progress in rehab, so he should stay there.

Brown was originally in danger of going to jail because of the misdemeanor charge he was tagged with for breaking a man's nose in a fight that happened outside the W Hotel in D.C. late last year. He rejected a plea deal for the case.

The troubled entertainer has been in rehab to treat anger issues and drug problems since November. He's also still serving probation for his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
