Chris Brown, Karrueche Tran Open Relationship: Is This Their Status?

Chris Brown and Rihanna made surprising music releases Monday night (Feb. 20), debuting remixes to their respective songs 'Turn Up the Music' and 'Birthday Cake.' Now Brown, 22, is making headlines for news that he and his current girlfriend Karrueche Tran have an open dating relationship.

RadarOnline.com spoke with a source that disclosed the information about Brown and Tran's romance. He and his former flame Rihanna are reportedly seeing one another again, but if those rumors are true, then his open relationship status with Tran means he's not cheating.

"Karrueche isn't stupid, and she has told friends that they have an open relationship," the source revealed. "She never asks him about Rihanna, ever. Chris will take several days to call her back at times, and that is OK with Karreuche. She doesn't pressure or hound Chris, it's just not what she is about. She recognizes that they are both young, and she isn't going to let the fact Chris is spending time with his ex-girlfriend come between what they have."

Tran and Brown, who recently traveled to Miami together, have been dating since last year. Tran, an aspiring model who dyed her hair blonde at the close of 2011 -- several months before Rihanna did -- is allegedly "clearly enjoying the attention and notoriety she is getting being his girlfriend."
