According to TMZ, police officials have dropped the case because they reportedly didn't have enough evidence to proceed. No criminal charges will be filed against Drake or Chris, or any other members who were there. TMZ reports that the surveillance video from that night was useless because it was dark and blurry, and interviews by the NYPD were inconclusive.

The fight happened this past June at WiiP nightclub and there were multiple reports that the bottle-smashing fight broke out over Rihanna, who was linked to Chris and Drake at the time. Chris reportedly was injured, as well as members of his team and other innocent club-goers.

Drake's lawyer, Blair Berk, told TMZ of the dropped case, "Drake was never even a suspect so it's no surprise."

Chris is currently overseas on his Carpe Diem tour (and reunited with Rihanna), and Drake is mourning the loss of his grandmother.
