Chris Brown tends to let his emotions get the best of him and now we have another instance of the singer using social media as a platform to address his grievances.

When it comes to his 1-year-old daughter Royalty, Breezy isn't playing any games, which her grandmother learned through Instagram. The “Liquor” crooner is involved in a public custody battle with Nia Guzman, Royalty's mother, who is apparently demanding that Breezy pay up to $15,000 a month in child support. On top of Nia's requests, now her own mother is chiming in on the matter and using Instagram as her sounding board.

In a screenshot obtained by The Shade Room Inc, Royalty’s grandma chose to comment on an Instagram post about the custody battle. Her comment includes thoughts on what Royalty needs since she's the daughter of a celebrity, which she feels should be more than the $2,500 per month Brown is already cashing out.

“She needs security even when she’s with Nia, she needs to go to private school and she needs to live in a gated community for his own daughter’s safety,” she wrote using the Instagram account @na_ma_ste.

The X creator couldn’t let her words go unnoticed as he responded in the most mature retort we've seen from him to date. He tastefully blasted Guzman’s mom for not looking out for his granddaughter’s “best interest” by airing out her opinion on Instagram. Breezy also held his ground in the financial department. “No kid need’s 4K a week. Especially when I have her 2 weeks out of the month,” he wrote. He even added that he filed for equal custody with Nia.

Earlier this month, Breezy decided it was best for the courts to determine custody when it comes to the finances necessary for raising his daughter. He headed to Houston to file for custody, stating that Nia wasn't letting him see his daughter, according to TMZ.

On another note, Brown isn't letting baby mama drama get the best of him. He's currently in the studio as he prepares to drop a new album this fall.
