Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) has been taking a bit of a hiatus from the music scene for the past few years or so, but he's ready to make his comeback. The Cali MC is gearing up to release his brand new album, ...Awaken, My Love!, which he has been teasing for fans for the past month. While rumors circulated that the rapper was possibly going to drop an album before the end of the year, he confirmed the speculation to be true this week.

The rapper took to his Twitter to reveal a bit more about the highly-anticipated upcoming project, as he released the artwork, and confirmed the title. While fans are still in the dark as far as the official release date for the project, as well as the track list or guest features, someone spotted a sign at an FYE store that indicated the album may be coming on December 2nd. According to reports, they also saw the ...Awaken, My Love! title before Gambino shared it himself, which may mean that it's a correct date.

It's been three years since Gambino released his debut album, Because The Internet, in 2013, leaving fans eagerly awaiting a new LP from him. The 33-year-old rapper and actor has been hard at work this year outside of music, having released his hit FX series, Atlanta. The show has been a huge success, seeing high ratings for the first two episodes in its premiere week.

Fans can rest easy knowing that Gambino is making his comeback sooner than they think.
