Childish Gambino Drops ‘Clapping For The Wrong Reason’ Trailer

Childish Gambino returned with his first new music in months last week with 'Centipede,' but didn't indicate whether a new project is in the works. And last night, the actor-turned-rapper once again left fans scratching their heads after dropping an ambiguous video titled 'Clapping for the Wrong Reasons.'

Little information is provided on the nearly one-minute clip, but we do know that it features cameos from Chance the Rapper, Trinidad Jame$, Flying Lotus, porn star Abella Anderson and actress Danielle Fishel (aka Topanga). Donald Glover himself takes on a main role in the video, bouncing a basketball up the stairs, doing karate in his garden and tending to a bloody nose, among other things.

Gambino promises a "director's cut next week," so all fingers point to this being a film of some sorts. Whatever it is, it looks exciting.
