TV personality Chelsea Handler has responded to reports that she is dating 50 Cent, after being spotted "getting very hot and heavy" with the rapper this past weekend at a jazz bar in New Orleans.

50 recently posted several suggestive tweets, such as "I think @chelseahandler is beautiful," adding fuel to the speculations. Even Forbes magazine weighed in, hypothesizing that the couple, who had a combined income of $39 million in 2009, could be the next Hollywood power couple. However, Handler was quick to put an end to the rumors.

"Everyone, calm down," she tweeted on Wednesday, claiming that the "date" was merely a business meeting. "I met with mr. Cent about a potential project. There's nothing to report yet, ill let you know if there is."
