Model Chanel Iman Responds to Kanye West Dating Rumors
Victoria's Secret model Chanel Iman has come clean in an interview with Us Weekly, finally addressing those Kanye West dating rumors.
Chanel, 20, has been romantically linked to Kanye, 34, since the pair were spotted getting cozy at after parties during Paris Fashion Week and the CFDA Awards. Kanye also tapped the catwalk queen to strut down the runway in his Dw designer duds for his fashion industry debut.
So what does Ms. Iman have to say about the speculated romance? "Rumors are rumors," she states. "Everyone's going to have something to say."
"We're really close; we're cool. We've been really tight since I first started modeling, actually," the leggy lady claimed. Yeezy is also apparently "really supportive" of her modeling career. "He called me to walk in his show in Paris. He's a good guy. He works really hard at what he does, and when you're around him, you want to be at your best too."
Coincidentally, West is scheduled to perform during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show later this month. "I'm so excited for it!" Iman admitted. "It" being Kanye's company backstage with her in her bedazzled underwear?
Chanel's comments follow yesterday's (Nov. 3) statement by Kanye's ex Amber Rose, who responded to his semi-apologetic, live song dedication to her.
