Chance the Rapper has teamed up with Chicago Beyond, a venture philanthropy fund, to announce a funding challenge that supports Chicago youth.

The program will specifically "support ideas that transform the lives" of Chicago’s young people. The Go Innovate! Challenge is set at $2 million and Chance made the announcement via video.  The challenge is accepting 90-second videos pitching ideas that address numerous social issues facing Chicago kids. The best ideas will receive the challenge prize of $2 million in funding, and there will be more than one winner.

"There are multiple sets of $2 million," Chance laughs in the video.

This latest social endeavor comes on the heels of what has been a very busy time for Chance, both musically and in the realm of philanthropy. This year, he earned BET's Humanitarian Award, propelled by several initiatives including donating millions to Chicago public schools.

If you're interested in submitting material for the challenge, visit the Chicago Beyond website.
