R&B singer Jeremih is making a huge comeback in the music game this year with a plethora of guest appearances on songs with Lil Durk (“Like Me”), Natalie La Rose (“Somebody”) and others. Earlier this year, the Chicago singer released “Planes” featuring J. Cole, which garnered him some buzz. Now fellow Chi-City native Chance the Rapper has remixed the song and it soars to new musical heights.

While there was nothing wrong with the original version, Chance’s remix gives the song a fresh new sound. The “Planes” remix features soothing horns from Donny Trumpet and melodic production from Norwegian producer Lido and Chance’s band the Social Experiment.

The original version goes from sultry club banger to a joyous anthem that’s soothing to the ears on the remix. Chance also swapped out J. Cole’s verse and added his own cheerful rhymes.

"I got that golden ticket / We should just go and kick it / This the factory / Listen to Kels, order daiquiris with your bitches / Gettin' drunk as f---, see a bitch I f---ed then get mad at me / Listen to Kels then get back with me / 'Cause I could fix broken bridges, she could never burn 'em," he raps.

Hopefully, Jeremih will include the song on his oft-delayed album, Late Nights: The Album, which still doesn't have a release date. As you continue to wait for the crooner to drop his project, fasten your seatbelt and listen to Chance's soaring remix of Jeremih's "Planes" below.
