President Barack Obama hosted the final State Dinner last night (Oct. 18) and celebrity guests including Frank Ocean and Chance The Rapper descended on the White House dressed in their finest for the royal occasion.

Chance showed his native Chicago brethren love, and attended the event accompanied by his father. Frank Ocean brought his biggest fan as his date, his mom. Although the event apparently honored Italy, hip-hop was in the building, and it looks like Chance has become a regular at the White house. Late summer, he was spotted with Jay Z, chopping it up with former president, Bill Clinton at the Made in America concert and he also paid the White House a visit earlier this year to discuss criminal justice reform. Word is, he’ll return December 1 as well to perform at the annual Christmas tree lighting. Upon his entrance to the state dinner he lovingly thanked his father for “raising him right."

Meanwhile, Frank Ocean showed up in a loose-fitting navy suit and checkered slip-on Vans with his stunning mother Katonya Breaux right by his side. Breaux tweeted that she feels so "blessed to have a son that includes me in his once in a lifetime events," touting that she had just hugged the First Lady.

"It's my first time doing it, probably because it's my first time here," Ocean said about rocking his checkered slip-ons. When asked if he ever expected to attend a state dinner he said, "No, I didn't. I think that explains the Vans, also."

Chance also wasn't anticipating an invite, but slapped on head-to-toe Ralph Lauren and ditched his signature baseball cap to dine with the Obamas. When asked upon arrival about Republican candidate Donald Trump, he said, "I think the media has oversaturated his presence in this election, and plays to a lot of his weaknesses but plays to his strengths so he can get more air time."
