As absurd as Rob Ford has been these past few months, he's still the mayor of Toronto by law. But it's questionable if it's within his power to decide to declare a holiday on the very same day. Ford decreed that today (Feb. 6) is Bob Marley Day in Toronto to commemorate the reggae legend's birthday.

Seeing Ziggy Marley and Australian pop star Cody Simpson work on a track together seems a little out of the reggae artist's element. However, on the their new collaboration, 'Love,' the two blend their sounds seamlessly, delivering a warm summery track that will warm anyone up this winter. The video for the effort does much of the same.

Snoop Dogg was the most well-known candidate in this year's Grammy Award category for Best Reggae Album with 'Reincarnated' -- his first reggae album. The nomination was a surprise to some, but Ziggy Marley won the category with his LP, 'Ziggy Marley in Concert.'
