Cassie Blames G-Mail for Nude Photo Leak

Now that everybody has forgotten about Cassie's nude pictures, she's bringing them back up again. The 23-year-old sited a glitch with her e-mail account as the reason why the photos ended up all over the internet.

"It was in an old e-mail from like last year that I had," she said in a recent radio interview. "Actually it was G-mail and sometimes G-mail is the worst. It was a year ago [that] I took the pictures and sent them. I don't even have the pictures anymore."

The songstress said she received a phone call informing her the pictures were leaked, and initially felt sick to her stomach. "I freaked out for a second and then, what can you do when that happens?

"We're closer to an idea of who did it. It's being somewhat investigated, I don't even know if I'm supposed to talk about it." Cassie confirmed that the pictures were taken for her boyfriend, but did not clarify if they were for rumored fling Sean "Diddy" Combs or her ex-beau Ryan Leslie. "Now I've learned not to use an e-mail to send a picture obviously."

The Connecticut native, who is working on her second album, gets more popularity for her personal life and physical appearance than her music. Earlier this year she shaved one side of her head and posted the pictures on her Twitter page. While many of her friends and fans complimented her new cut, others like rapper Fabolous, did not approve. "Did anyone see Cassie's new haircut??? I just don't know what's going on anymore," he Twittered. "She's a pretty girl, gorgeous hair....goes to show you women are never satisfied."

Cassie's current single 'Must Be Love' featuring Diddy, was released to radio in April, her sophomore album is due in stores later this year.
